In October 1987, The Tree of Life Intercessory Ministry was birthed by a divine visitation of God to Mrs. Elaine W. Green..  In being obedient to the call of prayer as an intercessor group leader, she immediately began with only four members in her home, in which time, they grew rapidly during those six years. God’s word was confirmed to her in Isaiah 56:7, “Even then will I bring to my  holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer, their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar, for mine house shall be called a house of prayer for all people.” The Lord commissioned this intercessory ministry to be multi-cultured regardless to race, color, creed., sex, or national origin. All are welcome.

At the end of a six year period, and entering the seventh year on March 1993, the Lord called Sis. Elaine W. Green into pastoralship. Throughout this time, the Tree of Life Church was birthed. She accepted the Call on her life as Pastor, Founder, and Overseer of the Tree of Life Ministries.

Over the years, Pastor Elaine Green has founded and implemented several ventures as directed by God including Learning Tree Christian Academy and Daycare at the headquarters in Charleston. With each step, Pastor Elaine W. Green heard and was obedient to the voice of God to lead those that she has been entrusted with in the Kingdom.

Pastor Elaine W. Green searches the deep within for the treasures of the greatness of God that are embedded in the precious stones in the Body of Christ, the ones chosen for the latter rain to  rise to the potential  that was designed and  predestined. She hosts and sponsors several workshops, conferences and meetings annually. A Shepherd who is continually after the heart of God , who feeds His people with knowledge, wisdom and understanding.  Her teachings bring revelation and understanding with practical application of God’s Word  for everyday living.
